About Madame Emily Smith, M.Ed

Mme. Smith holds a Master of Education and a BA in Linguistics and Psychology. This academic foundation allows her to leverage psychological insights into how children learn, ensuring that lessons are not only effective for young learners but also reduce the anxiety often associated with making mistakes and speaking a new language.

Having spent time working with small groups of students, Mme. Smith prefers traditional one-on-one tutoring to support student's unique needs.

Mme. Smith is a product of the Ontario Extended French program and a true testament to just how many doors open when students learn French. She has worked bilingually for the federal government in Ottawa for eight years and recently relocated to Toronto.

Mme. Smith is fluent in  English, French and Spanish and is currently accepting new students in the Toronto area for at-home and online tutoring.
